At the beginning of April. Bern and I had a leaflet come through from Brooks and Bentley and there was a beautiful matching set of wedding rings that we both adored. So we set about sneaking to Argos to borrow their ring sizer (under the pretence of wanting to buy a pair of ear-rings that I didn't want and therefore didn't buy) and I subsequently tried to order the rings on-line. Well the order wouldn't go through so I rang and got through to a lady on the phone who also had difficulty in finding the exact rings on the website. I recall telling her that we had received an advanced notification form so maybe that was why they were not showing but she was adamant it was okay. Well, she said she had located them and I gave her all the details for the personalisation on both rings and the sizes and she said that the order had gone through and that we should be getting the rings within 4 - 6 weeks. Well we both waited anxiously for the postman to bring our rings and this morning I thought I would just double check with the company -- and I am so glad I did. There was no record of the order ever being placed which meant we wouldn't have got the rings. So I have re-ordered them now and will keep everything crossed this time. They are now showing on their website which is a good sign in itself.
