Stevanage Stamperama show today

Woo-hoo -- what a great day I have had today. Been to the stamp show at Stevanage today. My friend, Nicky, picked me up at 9am first, then we picked my mum up and we headed off up the A1 to the show. Nicky's husband and son were with us as they were going off swimming whilst we in the show. Then we met up with Carmel once we were inside and we headed off and had a wonder round the sports hall where they hold the show. Met up with Amanda from Imag-e-nation forum and also Jane who gave me a pressie of a witch rubber stamp and a keyring with a witch on - bless you Jane - I love them xxxxx

We watched a lady from Serendipity do a demo of scenic stamping on inked backgrounds - they were stunning and at the end of the demo she gave me one of the larger pieces she had done and afterwards when we were in the town shopping, I bought a frame for it and it fits like a glove.

Isn't it a stunning image? I bought a small stamp and have made 3 ATC's which I am going to put up for grabs shortly so watch this space.

We met up with Carmels husband after the show and headed to a cafe in town and had a lovely lunch, a decent mug of tea and a good chat before wandering round Stevanage town (and spending more pennies in the Pound shop and QD store) and then headed home.
