Friday Sketchers Challenge

I was asked to make a card for a lady to give to her sister so using the sketch as set by
Friday Sketchers I have come up with this card. I used Fred's stunning flowers and backing papers and a stamp for the floraly flourishy twiddly bit in the bottom left hand corner (technical terms used throughout of course lol)
Hope you like it and thank you for looking

Birthday card

My housemate, Sarah, found the basis for this card in a box. I had made it at a playday at Deb's house months ago. Sarah wanted another birthday card for a friend so I adapted it and turned it into a large oversized card (well, if you need to pay the extra for the depth, you might as well go the whole hog and go for the full size too lol) . The flowers are the faux foldy flowers from Fred, She Said designs as is the backing paper.

Xmas card for my parents

Made this card for my mum & dad who have been marvels to me these past couple of months. It doesn't seem enough but its the best I can do at the moment xxx
The medallion is from Fred She Said and is very simple to cut out and assemble.

Stamp Something Friday Challenge

Stamp Something have set their latest challenge for Friday and this is my interpretation of the sketch. I'm sorry I can't remember where I for the Art Deco stamp from that I used, not the sentiment for the wording. The background was made using a technique recently published on Fred, She Said's blog page using chalk pastels. Instead of running it through the cuttlebug though (its buried under a pile of stuff LOL), I ran it through a ribbler for a change.
Hope you like it and thank you for looking xxx

Card inspired by Tracy from Fred She Said

Having been on Tracys Fred She Said blog this morning, I was intrigued by the technique Tracy used with chalk pastels so decided to have a go myself. I made up my topper with artist pastels and then ran it through the cuttlebug, brayed over the top with versamark ink and used a lilac lustre embossing powder from Blonde Moments. I layered up one of Tracy's delightful flowers and mounted it onto gold card. I printed the card itself from Greeting Card Factory and added a gold edge border peel off down one side to finish it off. I do hope I have done Tracy's technique justice x
