I had a phone call from a man today asking me to make an anniversary card for his wife so this is what I have made this evening. The die-cut decoupage is by Prestigious (I think) and is all printed on pearlescent card & matching backing paper
Heather has supplied the images and then its up to you to "witch" them up.
I imported the images I chose into my Digital Scrapbook Artist software and changed the page size option to 2.5" by 3.5" and them added elements from a halloween digital kit. I then printed them out onto standard photographic paper and added antique linen distress ink to give the aged look.
After suffering a mental block, I have decided on this card for my niece's husband. Its a vintage image from Robert Adams Vintage Transport CD. I inked up the edge of the card with "tea dye" distress ink and mat & layered the image onto mirri card and some light gold pearl card. The topper has just 1 layer of decoupage but it really doesn't need any more. It stands out so well.
My neighbour, Carol, and I attended a crafting evening at Grafton Crafts in Kimbolton last night and here are the 2 cards we made using the Daisy & Dandelion beautiful christmas stickers. It was a great evening and I love the cards we made :-)
Joining in a challenge where the theme is "WATER". I've used a photo of the floods we had here at the start of the year and an idyllic water setting and entitled my page "Beauty & The Beast"
This morning I thought I would do something a little bit different for me. Using the Digital Scrapbook Artist software, I created the 5" square scrapbook layout. The shadow effect on the butterflies makes them look 3D. I then printed out the sheet onto smooth satin finish card. Using a 5 1/4" square blank base card, I stamped an image around the edge and chalked it in a corresponding colour then simply mounted the scrapbook page onto the card blank. I then used a sakura glitter pen to highlight the centre of the flower and the centre of each of the "square cut diamond" edging.
I made these last night using a PaperMania Duo stamp set and some backing paper from the Daisy & Dandelion Winters Tale Paper pack. I'll be taking them down to the shop to put in the collection box later today
Here are a couple more Digital Scrapbook pages I have done. The top one is my mum doing her impression of Captain Jack Sparrow and the 2nd one is a view of St. Neots from the top of St.Mary's Church in the centre of town
