Crafters Companions Fire Engine card
I used the fire engine image from Crafters Companions Boys collection CD and made a stepper card (think that's what its called anyway). Hope you can see the effect
I used some mirri paper for the window and put a length through the ribbler to make the compartments where the hoses would go to make it look like chrome.

I was set a challenge by my neighbour .......
My neighbour, Carol, her friend Donna, my mum and me all went to the Stamperama show in Stevenage today and a good time was had by all.
I kept well within my budget and was really good. Carol bought loads as did Donna and my mum.
On our return, Carol came up to my flat and we did a bit of crafting together. Having stamped an image from her new Penny Black set, Carol set me a challenge of making up a card from the challenge so here is what I did.
You can't even see the mistake lololol

A card from one sister to another
I was asked to make a card for a lady to send to her sister who's husband is back and forth from hospital and is not very well at all. The husband has been receiving loads of cards (as you'd expect) but the lady wanted to send one to her sister as she is really struggling as well. She wanted something "light" just to let her sister know she is thinking of her everyday.
I had some daisy backing paper and it goes so well with one of the decoupage popcorn teddies from Crafters Companion. The lattice was cut with the craft robo

Another scrapbook covered .....
Bling up your bins ..................
The top one is the box that my shredder came in and I tore off the top flaps and added a few sheets of 12 x 12 scrapbook paper - it sits at the edge of my desk just nicely and takes a normal pedal bin size bin liner
The 2nd one originally held my kettle / toaster / sandwich maker and I covered it with some sticky back plastic from Lidl's that cost me £1.99 for the roll. The rest is on the front of my fridge in the kitchen. I use this bin for recycling.
As I have very limited space here in my panic room (home) I have no choice other than to see my bins so thought why not bling them up so they don't look too bad.
I like them and I hope you do too xxx
How do you store your received cards?
From this .....................................
To this ...........................................
If you get a card from a friend "just because" or a RAK, where do you store yours? I bought an ordinary child's scrapbook for £1.50 from a shop today and just by using 2 sheets of backing paper, an odd piece of vellum and some rub-ons, I turned it into a lovely book to store my cards to keep them safe.

Dachshund card
I have a stall at a dachshund dog show in October so thought I had better get a wriggle on and make some themed cards for my stall - so this is the 1st one I have come up with. Isn't this a sweet little image of a "black and tan mini smooth" (see I am getting the lingo now lol). I used some Daisy & Dandelion backing papers and a couple of paper flowers.
