papertake weekly sketch challenge 17.11.08

The theme for this week's challenge on Papertake Weekly is "SNOW". And here is my interpretation of it.

I have used a snow globe stamp that I believe is made by Dimension Fourth and coloured it in with Whispers markers and added some glamour dust and sakura glitter pen to highlight. The backing paper is from the Artylicious Seasons Greetings cd and has simply been layered onto some mirror card that I buy from Tesco's craft section.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge

The challenge this week from Cute Card Thursday is "green and red" so as I already had this stamp out that I used on the Rainbow lady Challenge card, I used it again. The tartan backing sheet is from a freebie set that came with a magazine and the sentiment stamp is from Crafters Companion (I believe, so don't hold me to it). I used sakura gel pens to colour in the image this time
Thank you for looking xx

Greeting card factory to the rescue again lol

A lady I clean for has asked me to make a card for a friend of hers who will be 70 shortly. She breeds miniature wirehaired dachshund's so I imported a picture into GFC and made this for her. I used a clear Sakura glitter pen on the white daisies and a yellow sakura gelly pen for the centre's and finished it with a simple bow made from white gros-grain ribbon.

First Dutch card

One of my clients has asked me to make 2 cards for a Dutch couple he knows that always send him a birthday card and Christmas card every year. So I have googled the correct wording and here is the card I have made for the lady - her name is Lies but it is pronounced as in Lisa but drop the "ah" sound at the end ( Leece). I used a template from the Just Cutters 2 cd for the windmill itself and the Sassy Chic My Craft Studio CD for the tulips. I printed off one of the flowers sheets and cut out the tulips to put on the corners of the card. I then used a metallic sakura brown pen to put the "wood" on the sails. I was asked to keep it flat as it has to go to Holland so I do hope the gentleman likes what I have done. I now have to do one for the Dutch gentleman

Honest opinions needed please............

............... before I chuck this Xmas card in the bin LOL. The stamp is from the same place I got the little hedgehog from and I still can't remember the name of the company (sorry) and I simply used Sakura glaze pens for his hat and feet and the Sakura glitter pen for the hat pom-pom and rim. The backing paper is from Crafters Companion Festive Ltd Edition CD and I used the built in colouriser to remove the colour.
On the whole, I really don't like it but would like your honest opinions on it before little "wing wing" ends up in the bin (or at least recycled LOL)
