Art Deco style birthday card

I have made this card using images from the Art Nouveau cd in the My Craft Studio set. The circle at the top has been layered as had one of the flowers as its to go through the post but I didn't want just a flat image.

Art Nouveau Card

A client of mine has twin nieces celebrating their birthday shortly so here is the 1st card I have made for one of them. I used the My Craft Studio Art Nouveau CD for the images and a piece of pre-printed vellum for the background. I only used 4 layers as it has to go through the post but I still think the effect is very nice.

Cup cake challenge

I was having a play with My Craft Studio and used it in its entirety to make this card which I am entering for this weeks Cup Cake Crafting challenge which is all about sweets & treats. Everything has been designed with the software (even the gems are printed) and I have simply cut and decoupaged a second cup cake. It may not be true crafting but just shows what can be done if you are in a hurry and need a quick card.

Card made with Jaks background and twisted decoupage topper

Over at Crafters Kitchen (link is on the right), Jak kindly uploaded some free background sheets and as soon as I saw the pink one, I knew what I had in mind for it. I used a twisted decoupage sheet from the Walk In Wonderland CD and found that Jak's sheet was a much better match that the one on the cd itself.

Dunkers ATC swap Nov / Dec 08

The theme for this bi-monthly ATC swap on Sharon Duncans forum is "yellow flowers". I thought that people would be getting a bit bogged down with Xmas cards and decided to set a more lively colourful theme this time. For more info, pop over to Sharons website, join the forum and join in the fun :-)
The image on the left is from Cup Cake Crafting's Oriental CD and the image on the right is from Cup Cake Craftings Botancial CD and I resized the decostack page in "My Craft Studio" so that it all still fitted perfectly

First Dutch card

One of my clients has asked me to make 2 cards for a Dutch couple he knows that always send him a birthday card and Christmas card every year. So I have googled the correct wording and here is the card I have made for the lady - her name is Lies but it is pronounced as in Lisa but drop the "ah" sound at the end ( Leece). I used a template from the Just Cutters 2 cd for the windmill itself and the Sassy Chic My Craft Studio CD for the tulips. I printed off one of the flowers sheets and cut out the tulips to put on the corners of the card. I then used a metallic sakura brown pen to put the "wood" on the sails. I was asked to keep it flat as it has to go to Holland so I do hope the gentleman likes what I have done. I now have to do one for the Dutch gentleman
