This is Merlin. He does have two fully functioning eyes but he was half asleep when this photo was taken. He is a bit feral (well a lot really) so I had to get some help from the marvelous Cats Protection League and they supplied me with a trap which I set up this morning and hardly needed as he walked straight in so I just closed the door of the trap. Needless to say, he was not a happy bunny but I put a blanket over the trap to help calm him down and there was some food in there for him. I then rang the lady from CPL again and she came round with another cage to transfer him into so I could get him to the vets.
I told the vets what was wrong with him (he has a nasal problem and sneezes everywhere and makes an awful mess) so in the interests of their own safety, as well as Merlins, they are going to sedate him and give him a full MOT. As no-one has rung up until now, they will probably be doing everything tomorrow now so I shall ring in the morning as requested and see what the state of play is.
I am sure he will be okay though as its not life threatening and he will probably be on tablets for a couple of weeks which I can administer via his food (so thats another one who will have to have special treatment for a while). But they are all worth it xx
I'll will update you tomorrow once I know a bit more x
