Proof if proof be needed that cats DO have a sweet tooth.

I have often be told, and indeed read in many books, that cats don't like sweet things - well, as the Iams cat in the current advert says "Cats can't read" so here are 3 short video's of Pickle, my 15 year old cat indulging in her favourite treat - jam doughnuts. Not only does she eat the whole thing (including the jam), she fights her way into the paper bag to get it out as she can smell them as you come in the door. She's been doing this for years and it doesn't seem to have done her any harm LOL

Sorry about the quality, they were taken on my phone xxx

  1. How cute!! Reminds me of a cat that we had. She was a black and white but more black than white and looked very similar face-wise. She used to love all things non-cat and would bide her time to 'steal' as soon as able. Trouble is, she believed in feeding the other cat and dog as well, who used to stand guard for her. Their payment I guess - lol!! Good one Cazz!

  4. My hubbie would have a fit if he caught our Jake with a doughnut on the sofa. Jake just has the cream from his trifle every night almost. If the vets could see what our cats eating habits they would have a fit, so we will keep it our secret.
Pickle is a character I am sure he creates a lot of fun.
