Way back at the end of March when Bernie moved in, we bought a new TV . Well the remote didn't work so we rang the company and they said a new remote would be sent out. The days passed that turned into weeks and in the dying stages of April, a new remote arrived - which didn't work. An engineer was duly despatched to assess the problem - it was the sensor of the TV set itself. So of he went to order a new part - 2 days later we gets a phone call - unable to get part so will have to have new TV. They wanted us to return the other one (at their expense I hasten to add) and THEN they would send out a new one - no way we said. You send a new one and take the old one away with you - which they agreed to do. So we ar enow at 2nd May and I have just rung them again. TV should be delivered either today (thanks for the notice) or Tuesday !!! Delivery company will ring.
Watch this space to see whether it happens or not - just to say, I am not going to hold my breath. Then need to check invoices etc to make sure we haven't been charged delivery twice which wouldn't surprise me...........................................
