Casual summer bag (1st try)

This bag is made from a pillowcase. I will need to perfect things but am happy with first go.

The pattern is available from Martha Stewart website

I have aslo learnt tonight that curtain black out lining doesn't like my sewing machine (or vice versa) so the other bag I was making will have to wait til tomorrow for its lining. Guess you learn by your failures.

Enchanted Elegance Birthday card

One of my sons friends asked me to make a card for his mum's birthday

She's not been too well with throat cancer & has now been diagnosed with a few

other things too so he asked me to make something special for her

Not normally a problem, but his mum is a crafter too 

so she'll be picking it apart to make sure its up to her standard lol
