As per my last post, it's a good job I don't mind doing male cards,
because here is my 2nd one of the evening!!!
Be warned though, I have 'crossed the streams' and used products from more than one company
(just to show that you can) :-)
To start, I used a template mask from Ali Reeve and inked up a distressed edge rectangle in the centre of a piece of stamp & colour card. The using the inside piece as a mask, I twisted the outer piece and inked the 2nd and then the 3rd rectangle to give the layered effect. I cut the topper out with deckle edge scissors and inked around the edges (Phill Martin will be so happy). I then used a 0.1 micron pen to outline the 3 layers.
The vintage car topper is from Sam Poole, Creative Expressions stamped with black archival
For the crackle background, I used a stamp from Little Claires Designs and again, used black archival ink.
To finish, I stuck from sticky mesh tape stuff across the card before sticking the topper on.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today x
This is brilliant. They are so hard to make for aren't they?!
ReplyDeleteLove the distressed layers and that image is fab.
That crackled backing paper looks absolutely brilliant
