2 cards made this evening for orders
I had a couple of cards to make for 2 orders so here is what I have been doing this evening. The top one is from a die cut decoupage sheet - the chalking is showing up a lot more red in the scan than it actually is and the backing paper is from Daisy & Dandelion.
The 2nd card I have made for a mans niece and is again from the Daisy & Dandelion range and I am also entering this one in the Papertake weekly challenge as I followed DawnW's final sketch

Unusual acceptance card - but not when you see the invite lol
Here is my acceptance card that I have made for a gentleman to send back to his family in reference to the invite below (I have blanked out the details naturally).
The backing paper and the pirate topper were freebies in this months Papercraft essential and the "Map" with the wording on is from Greeting Card Factory and then I tore the edges and inked them with a brown inkpad before crushing it to create the wrinkled effect.

3 birthday cards all for orders
I had 3 orders for cards and this is what I have done. The top one is from the La Pashe Flipping Men range and I used a backing paper from Greeting Card Factory to simulate a tiled wall in a bathroom. The 2nd card is a die-cut decoupage sheet and the backing paper is from Jaks own range which is available from The Crafters Kitchen and the link is on the side bar. The 3rd is from the My Craft Studio Walk in Wonderland set and is for an 18yr old grand-daughter .

Anniversary card using pre-made toppers
The backing sheet for this card is actually an envelope design from Crafters Companion and the toppers are all from a Kanban box. It was a very strange card to make it was requested by my mums best friend but its actually for my mum & dad who are celebrating their 59th wedding anniversary today.

Unicorn card for a 6 yr old girl
As you can see, this card is for a little girl called Daisy and its her 6th birthday. I used images and backing papers from the Crafters Companion Girls collection and added sakura glitter pens to the letters, numbers and the features on the unicorn itself

Card for my parent's wedding anniversary
Wednesday 6th May sees my parents celebrating 59 (yes 59) years of marriage and here is the card I have made to give to them to mark the occasion.
I have used Fred, She Said's flower topper onto Daisy & Dandelion Picnic Patch A5 Sheets. The rub on verse is from my stash as is the "Linked by Love" tag in the corner.
I am also entering this card into the Secret Crafter Blog Challenge this week too as the theme is flowers

Black & Blue - thats the ATC theme and not me by the way :-)
Paul Ford over at ATC Swappers gave us a choice this month of either 4 "Black & Blue" themed ATC's, 4 "Cream & Purple" ATC's or do all 8 so long as there are 4 of each. So here are the ATC's I have done. There is no blog candy for guessing which colour option I have gone for lol. As I have until the end of May to send them in, I might get around to doing another 4 in the second colour choice but I'll have to see what occurs.

Shower story update ..
Steve the maintenance man arrived today whilst I was out and when I got home about 5pm, the poor guy looked worn out LOL. He said it had been a bugger of a job so far but he seemed to be making good progress. Today he has totally replaced the waste pipes, fitted new joists, re-laid the floor, removed all the tiles and put up new boards ready for the new tiles, and installed the shower tray and sealed it. The tiler is coming in tomorrow to do the tiling then it just remains for Steve to come back and install the shower back again and fit the new door. I don't expect him to be here until Tuesday because of the bank holiday which is fine by me - at least the finish line is in sight :-)
