Here is the photo of the ATC's received for this months ATC swap. The theme was "Initially Yours" and the idea was to create 2 ATC's using the first letter of your name as the starting point.

Card for a photography fan
A friend of my mums wanted a card for a friend of hers that is into photography but she wanted something bright and breezy so I came up with this earlier. The backing paper is from Papermania and the decoupage sheet was from my stash. I used a cuttlebug folder for the mat and the sentiment stamp is from a Daisy & Dandelion stamp set,
Uber Blog Award received from Paul
I received this award from Paul over at ATC Swappers and would like to say a big thank you to him for nominating me xxx Paul runs a monthly ATC swap Blog so if you want to join in, please pop over to his blog for more inspiration.
I know have to pass it onto 5 others so here goes
My 1st choice would have been Hazel but as she already has it I shall move on xxx
It has to be the wonderful Jak over at The Crafters Kitchen . Who COULDN'T fail to be inspired by her beautiful designs
My next port of call is a blogging newbie so I am pleased to give this award to Dawn over at Dawnie's Den She has not been blogging long but her cards are beautiful and she has a great style
My next nomination is to a blogger that I hardly know but she is a crafter so she must be lovely lol and from what I have seen of her cards so far - they are lovely so please pop over to Maddies Creations and see for yourself what talent this lady has
The next lady has followed my blog since day 1 (almost) and is so unreserved and quiet so I think she deserves this award.here you go Pam for always listening xxx
And now for my last nomination and can I just say before I say who it is that if I have forgotten anyone, it wasn't intentional in anyway. And if anyone feels they deserve the award, then please feel free to add it to your blog xxx
This lady has again followed me since day 1 and never fails to leave me a comment or two despite everything that she goes through herself and she too is deserving of this award for her courage, so Sue this is for you xxx

My craft bargains of the day
I DIDN'T go to my local stationers this morning on the way to work and I DIDN'T buy anything from the large stash of craft goodies he has in the shop either. So ALL this lot DIDN'T come to the bargain price of £7.72p (sorry Dawn, I miscalculated when I sent you that text earlier lol). I am watching the Papercrafts technique DVD at the moment and have picked up so many tips - great buy for 25p !!! The other 3 were in a pack and cost £1.

Birthday card for a niece
Papertake weekly sketch challenge 23.03.09
I was asked to make a thank you card for a mother to give to her son & daughter-in-law so I combined the request with Dawnie's sketch over on PaperTake
Efforts of last nights craft class
Last night, Dawn and I went to our local craft class and here are 2 of the cards I made. I Haven't started the concertina cat yet but I will do (maybe).
The top one is just an s-shaped card that I haven't embellished as I want to use it as a template and the 2nd one is an iris-folded funky sheep
It was good to go to the club though as I haven't been for a while.
Hope you like them and thank you for looking xx

Stamp Something Challenge
The challenge this week on Stamp Something is to make something with a feeling of spring so as my mate wanted me to make a Mothers Day card for her mum, I came up with this. I have again used another stamped image from Daisy & Dandelion which I coloured with pastels. I used sakura glaze pens for the flower. The papers are from my stash.
Sketch Saturday challenge #43
Here is my card not only to give to my mum for Mothers Day tomorrow but also as my entry in this weeks Sketch Saturday Challenge . The image is from the new Daisy & Dandelion range - isn't he cute xxx
Odd birthday card request
The lady that requested the yellow birthday card for her sister also asked me to make a fun one from her sisters 3 black labs. So I came up with this and she loved it :-)
The card stock is from the new papermania range and I really like them - makes it so easy to attach fibres / ribbons etc etc as they don't slip off LOL
Hope you like it and thank you for looking xxx
Birthday card for a Brother-in-law
I made this card for a gentleman to give to his brother in law. it is from Joanna Sheen's Jayne Netley Mayhew CD - the wildlife section and is simply layered up on some gold dufex sheets that were being sold off in my local craft shop for 99p for 6 sheets
Hope you like it and thank you for looking xxx

2 sketches for 4u monday challenge 16th March
Killing 2 birds with one stone here again - completing a blog challenge over on 2 sketches 4u and making a card to order for a lady to give to her sister. the sentiment is a personal one used between the two of them and the lady asked if I could incorporate it into the card for her. I used a die-cut decoupage sheet and coloured in the daffodils with yellow pastel whisper marker pen and added a touch of glamour dust. the paper flowers are again from Prima.
CupCake Crafting Challenge 16th March
Seems like ages since I completed in a blog challenge but I have been a busy bee. So here is my entry for the challenge on CupCake Challenge this week. I chose to do Brown + Pink for my card (although the photo makes the corrugated card at the back look purple but it is bright pink). The rubber stamped image is from Rubber Monger which I stamped up with versamark and dabbed it with mica powders to give a lovely shimmery effect when its turned. I didn't have any brown ribbon so used a pink piece and rubbed it over with a coffee bean brilliance ink pad and I also used the same inkpad on the flowers which are by Prima.
Hope you like it and thank you for looking xxx

2 cards made this evening
The top card is a bit of a rush job - I got a call from my mum earlier asking me if I could make a card at the request of a friend of hers - and could I drop it off tomorrow morning !!! So I do hope its okay.
The second card is for a young man of 16 who likes to plane spot at Heathrow and checks flight details on Ceefax - so after some scouring of the internet to see what the format is like, I have come up with this card using Greeting Card Factory to do the artwork on the Television Screen
Hope you like them and thank you for looking xxx
Monochrome birthday card
I have made this monochrome birthday card using the sheets available from Jak at the Crafters Kitchen . Please visit her blog if you are stuck for inspiration at any time - you won't be after you've visited her stunning blog x

Dufex birthday card
I was asked to make a card for a couple to give to their grandson so I used this dufex motorbike image that I had on a sheet. To make the flags, I used a checkered background and an effect in greeting card factory to give them an irregular feel and cut up a large skewer and coloured them with a sakura market pen in gold

Art Nouveau Card
A client of mine has twin nieces celebrating their birthday shortly so here is the 1st card I have made for one of them. I used the My Craft Studio Art Nouveau CD for the images and a piece of pre-printed vellum for the background. I only used 4 layers as it has to go through the post but I still think the effect is very nice.

Ink on my Fingers blog challenge
The challenge on Ink On My Fingers this week is to produce a piece of artwork using stamping and with the theme of cats. As I don't yet have all my craft stash with me I have come up with this simple ATC which is also part of my contribution to this months Dunkers ATC swap over on Sharon Duncan's forum where the theme this month is "Initially Yours" and you have to create 2 ATC's using the initial letter of your first name as the inspiration - hence me using CATS for the first one.
