I winned, I winned, I winned :-))))

Yesterday, whilst sitting in my mums back garden having a chin wag with her & my sister who was also there, I got POOPED on by a flipping bird !! Well, after my mum & sister had recovered from their laughing fit and I had finished trying to locate the bird and whack it with my handbag, my sister says "thats supposed to be lucky you know". I said it wouldn't be lucky for the bird if I had gotten hold of it !!

Anyway, I bought a lottery ticket on the way home - just in case.

Then whilst watching the telly last night, I got a text from Hazel over at Moving Along With The Times to tell me that my name had come up on the random generator for last week blogs challenge and I had won 3 digi-stamps of my choice from Delicious Doodles so I didn't feel so bad about the bird then :-) (didn't win the lottery though)

Here is the card that I had entered for the challenge

birthday card with paper bag backing paper

My 1st Pro-marker card :-)

The 2nd of the 2 cards I was asked to make for a rush order. The rubber stamp is by Penny Black and is called Lily Border. A real old-school stamp in this day and age as it a wood mounted one !!!!!!
I am really pleased though as this was my 1st attempt with pro-markers and I just hope I have done the stamp proud. The BP is from MCS (but I can't remember which one now)

My wedding anniversary card for my mum & dad

Went for the bold dramatic look with this one

60th element cut out on craft robo and then glittered. Black backing is also glitter card but it doesn't show up on the photo. The idea is to represent diamonds for the 60th wedding anniversary and as you can get both white and black diamonds, I chose the white and black theme

Having a play with MCS professional

I was having a play with My Craft Studio Pro and wanted to see if I could do a
Barbara Grey "style" card but without the stamping. I imported the image I wanted, flipped it, blurred it and opacitated it (don't know if that is a word but it is now) and did the same with the butterfly.

Its not great but hey, its my 1st go :-))
